We all know how useful lists. However, when it comes to working on multiple projects, we become discouraged and realize that they do not always work. The main problem is that the lists do not specify how to achieve the goal – it’s just the transfer of tasks to perform. In addition, they can be cumbersome that only reinforces the reluctance to take over the case. In such cases come to the aid of the program of action.
How to use the action program
Make a long list of problems in your personal and professional world, which require authorization. Try to collect and burn all that, do you think, has not been completed and calls for action. Distribute all the problems by Category:
Urgent or non-urgent;
Large or small;
Personal or professional.
When your collection is ready, all the subsequent problems are in the list automatically, and you can see them clearly. Not everyone can write on a piece of paper, because a lot of questions come straight to your inbox, or come in the form of memos, so learn how to organize this information.
It is important not to give projects to rust in your head, and do not give problems to stagnate and annoying, because it is one of the main causes of stress. Everything should be in place and wait for the hour. Stress arises because the issues and challenges that are in an active state, irritate you when you are doing other things.
Make sure that your personal goals are displayed in the form of tasks and projects on your list.
It’s time to treat your list of tasks and problems. Look at them closely, determine if you need to take action to address them.
Referring to the experience, you are surprised to notice that a lot of problems previously solved by themselves and did not have to you as a result of no value. Learn to identify these problems and to delete them from your list.
Organization and prioritization
This step consists of three parts.
Part One: Review your inventory of projects and activities. Cluster together separate, individual actions that are part of larger projects.
For example, you want to renovate the bathroom and paint the living room in his house: two of these processes can be combined into one project “Repair”.
What you will notice immediately when you become sort these things that they like themselves are beginning to organize themselves in a consistent, coherent projects.
The second part: Now, when all the projects are decorated in a sequential list of actions, review and prioritize them. You can assign them to a simple coding system – A milking depending on their importance.
The third part: Insert the projects in the action program (using the approaches, which we describe later). the Programme is divided into three parts:
The following list of activities. It displays the following small steps that move your project forward.
Delegated list of actions. It displays the projects and actions that you have delegated to other people.
Catalog projects. It shows a list of all active projects, divided into appropriate action.
In the last step you create the largest part of the action programs – projects directory. Revise it at least once a week to realize they are in what condition.
To create a list of the delegated acts, you need to understand which tasks to do yourself and which ones you can delegate. Write down the person’s name and the action that it needs to make.
To create the following list of actions that you need to think about what the project needs to complete first. Shall describe in detail some of the steps he is. If the step is so small that it can be done in a minute, why not do it right now? You will achieve progress and will move by inertia.
At the completion of each step, mark it in a notebook and record in my head. This simple trick will allow you to be focused and motivated. Do not leave without attention to their successes, otherwise ruin the routine all your undertakings.
Development of the program of action
Typically, the action program and the implementation of its project takes a lot of time. However, you should not do and all day project.
You can work on multiple projects simultaneously. If any task requires routine activities, follow them during low emotional activity – such an approach will allow you to not only perform the job, but also charge extra energy in and out of heavy emotional state.
Now that you have finished work on the program of action, you will notice that they look like the good old lists. Only this time you have a clear structure, and you can follow the progress of your life.
Do not forget to update and revise their programs of action. Ask questions about the need for the implementation of some projects, whether they help you for the long-term goals? The answer may surprise you.
